This was your first time painting. You loved it, I can't wait to do even more artsy stuff with you this summer. I outlined your hands on the paper and then you painted all over it. I like how you just did a bunch of spots instead of smearing it all together, very artistic! You couldn't wait to show Daddy when he got home.

I got you some new flip flops from Old Navy and you were so excited! Every other day you ask to go to the beach. This morning still in your pajamas you put on these shoes and ran around yelling, "got my flip flops, going to the beach!"
So cute! I think when baby #2 is born you should continue the Carys project, do some ______ project and some Carys & ______ project! I love it! It feels cool to be connected!
