The Power of Christ

I love to hear the testimonies from people whose lives have been transformed by knowing Christ. This video is totally awesome.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent"
1 Corinthians 1:18-19

And then there were four...

The last 3 weeks have been quite the blur. They started with this...(thanks Nathan for taking this picture in my hour of need...no not really. Let's just say me and that bedrail were best friends before the epidural came along. I was holding on for dear life!)

And here we are with this...

Sweet!

Most of my waking moments not spent with the baby are spent with Carys or sleeping, so I haven't made time to update my blog of course. I've been blessed with my mom staying with me for a week, and Nathan's mom here all last week. This week is when the reality will set in I think! But Charlie is a good baby and I am doing so much better than I was with Carys. The nursing is going great and I am just more relaxed overall. Just taking it one day at a time. I'm so thankful I was able to have her naturally and not do the c-section. Sidenote: I am in awe that the human race has managed to perpetuate itself through thousands of years of all natural childbirth, needless to say I don't have the greatest pain threshold.

Here are some more recent pics:

Sleepy baby has lots of dark hair...

And looks to have the same blue eyes as her sister, but time will tell!

Carys seems to have grown one year and ten pounds during the 3 days we were at the hospital. Weird stuff. I love you baby, you are beautiful, sensitive and hilarious, and you're going to be an awesome big sister.

Hi Charlie

Our 2nd beautiful daughter Charlotte Grace Wunische was born on April 2, 2011, weighing 8 lbs 10 oz. We're calling her Charlie.

Our cup runs over.

Big sister is happy too.
