Zig Zag

OK, I really love this throw pillow from Twinkle Living that I would put on my couch. I just have to try and justify spending 50 bucks on a throw pillow. And I'm not there yet..

My Girl

I am loving these warm January days we're getting, because it means we get to go to the park. She's totally into climbing up the stairs and going down slides on her own. And I get to take really cute pictures like this one!

And this one...she's very into this Elmo water.

Breakfast for Dinner

I often let leftovers go to waste because after a couple days I get grossed out (I know, terrible!). But this was a good use of some leftover chili we had. Nathan makes the best gas-houses, which if you don't know, is basically an egg fried into a piece of bread, so they become joined as one crunchy, gooey marriage of delicious-ness.
I thought it was funny that he just combined everything together but I ate mine seperate and civilized :). Of course you need to enjoy this with an ice-cold glass of milk.

Less Stuff, More Life

I happened upon an episode of Oprah where she was interviewing some Danish people and seeing why they are the "happiest people on earth". OK so most of it was baloney but there was one good thing I took from it. The family she visited lived in this really small apartment, but it was super clean and modern. Oprah was blown away asking them where all their stuff is, and the guy says, "we have less stuff, and so we have more life." hmmm, i thought i liked that, i like that a lot.
I'm really going to try to embrace this as we move into a new place. A new year's resolution maybe? If I don't love something, why do I have it on display? Why am I holding on to all this stuff that I never use, wear, has no purpose? Yes, I think this going to be fun, and I'm excited.

I think these rooms show the spirit of less stuff, more life. Ah, its like fresh air.
