The craigslist dining room chairs have finally gotten their makeover and I couldn't be happier. All it took was some Ikea fabric and a mom that knows her way around a staple gun. That would be my mom, not myself. Thanks Mom!!
Before...sad little chairs
After....fun, modern chairs

Awesome
I absolutely love this black, white and yellow bathroom re-do from Desire to Inspire, which has to be my most favorite design blog. Always something beautiful to look at on there. You can check out the whole post on her black & white bathroom here. The black is so fabulous, and I love those hooks (from Anthropologie).

Ten Under Ten
This took me a while, but I finally came up with my ten favorite things under $10. Here it goes....
This Neutrogena Body Oil is one of my favorite things ever. I use it when I get out of the shower, the smell is perfect, and it takes off my mascara too.
Folex was my miracle worker when we had carpet, this stuff is serious and you can get it at the grocery store.
I have really pathetic eyelashes and have tried tons of them, this one is my favorite and makes my lashes look the least pathetic they ever have without being too clumpy.
These flashcards from One Step Ahead are awesome! I partially credit them for Carys knowing so many words, that and her good genes of course. ;)
I was stoked to find these Old Navy sandals for 10 bucks, and they look just like the J. Crew ones I usually get for 50. We'll see how long they last.
Ikea Ribba frames....Perfect, modern, clean and cheap.
Flowers from Trader Joes....sometimes they have peonies for under 10 and I get really excited.
I finally found what I was looking for, the perfect beigy-pink nail polish. OPI Barefoot in Barcelona.
When I don't want to think about being healthy, this is where it's at, the McD's cheeseburger. So good.
And then to really cheer me up, a vanilla soft serve cone. Makes me happy just thinking about it.
Well that's it! Ah, the simple things. Let me know what yours are if you dare. Here are some other top tens from Amanda and Julie.

I'm Back
It's been a while since I've had time to post anything. My wonderful mother-in-law was in town, we had a big Easter shindig at our place, and then I went to our church's womens retreat last weekend. Which by the way I went to kicking and screaming, but came back refreshed, spiritually at least.
"You are worthy O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For you created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created."
Revelation 4:11
It can't be said enough...God is good!
Here are all the cousins on Easter, it was such great day
Carys running around during the egg hunt
We made a trip to the long beach aquarium, Carys was trying to drink the water from the dolphin, she's obsessed with running water
it was a little tough taking pictures inside the aquarium, this is the best i could do with my aging camera
and i can't forget our first visit to Coffee Cup Cafe, three words "apple honey sausage"....legendary
one more of baby girl coloring some eggs :)
