Day Off

Nathan's parents are in town, so yesterday we took the day off. We took Carys to Zoomars Petting Zoo in San Juan Capistrano, had lunch at Cedar Creek Inn, and then drove up the coast. We stopped at the beach, and the Shake Shack. Which I found out sadly was bought and commercialized by Rubys. The shakes were 4.50! But I still got a PB and Banana one, and it hit the spot. At the Shake Shack we sat around this big table and Carys sat on top and crawled around. She is such a good baby. Here is a pic of her on the table..

Table lamp saga

I just cannot find the right table lamps for our bedroom. And I refuse to pay a lot, so the wait continues. What I really want is orange, and this Jonathan Adler lamp is the ultimate, but its $220 for one, that's not happening.


For some reason I'm drawn to this pink lamp, but I'm not sure Nathan would approve. And pink is definitely not my style. I would change the shade to plain white. Why do i like this? Maybe for Carys' future room. It's from PB Teen and they can have some cool stuff. Moving on...


Then there is this one from Target, not orange, but I like the style. But its $195, whats the deal Target, help a sister out!

Dreamy

I love this bathroom, would like to be there right now. I so wish I had a tub to soak in, unfortunately right now my tub is the home for kitty's litterbox. Its OK, that tub is too small for me anyway.

Seriously Pottery Barn?

I think my husband could make this for 20 bucks. I want to know who can or would want to pay $700 for this....

Euro Baby

I got these leggings for baby girl at Naartjie and I am loving them.




Their stuff is pretty European, so that could be a good or bad thing, depending on how you feel.
Anyway, they are having a sale. I'm eyeing the button dress.

Conan

I haven't been able to watch Late Night with Conan in a long time, what with working and having a baby, and you know, sleep. But I used to watch and he is so hilarious, I'm excited for his move to the Tonight Show, think I need to set the DVR.

First times...

This was the first time I put Carys on the grass. It was hilarious, she wasn't sure what to do, but she loved it! She kept lifting up her hands and feet really high when she crawled. Ahhh! She is so fun.
