So Carys loves to stand on a stool up to the sink and play with the water, pretending to brush her teeth. Needless to say, she is none too happy when I try to pull her away. So she tells me to "go mommy!"

Make a Statement

I watched the "Jason & Molly Bachelor wedding extravaganza" on ABC because I am pretty much obsessed with weddings. Although it was funny that the host claimed it was "one of the most highly anticipated weddings ever", riiiight. It was pretty ridiculous, but they got everything for free and it was deluxe!
Long story short, the bridesmaids had these big chunky necklaces that caught my eye, so I looked them up. They are actually sold on Etsy at AddieMia's shop.

I really like it, but I'm not so sure its totally me. Then I came across this other necklace that I think I want to get. I've never been a big jewelry person but I feel the tide, it is a changin'!

Say hello to my little friend

Or should I say our new big friend. Nathan's dad let us have this African fellow to mount on our wall, actually it's not real, but the horns are. I am told it is called a gemsbach (or something like that), but I have yet to find evidence online that such an animal really exists! Anyway, we love him, he doesn't have a name yet though...Carys just calls him "cow!"

More Progress

I had my eye on these letters from Land of Nod forever, and finally got them up on her wall. I love how it turned out. Hopefully you can tell what color her wall is from the pic, its a really nice light purple.


Here is Carys hanging out with her dog friends from next door. It's like we have our own private zoo right outside our door. Doggies!

Got the Thomas Paul plates on the kitchen wall. Thank God for my husband and those electronic level thingys.

I realize that I am in no way the first or will be the last, but I currently have a very large crush on my black Converse all-stars. Timeless.

Progress Made

Moved in last weekend and I am really loving it. I just feel so blessed, its out of control. I love the sound of Carys running on the hardwood floor. I keep thinking of Ephesians 3:20 - "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think"....God is good!
